传记:Vítor Pinto graduated in Biochemistry by the University of Porto in 2004 and completed a PhD degree in Human Biology by the Porto’s Medical School in 2010.The work developed by Vítor Pinto during his PhD was performed in the Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology, where he specialized in ex-vivo electrophysiological recordings. Soon after the completion of his PhD, Vítor Pinto moved to the Life and Health Science Research Institute where he was PI in a project dedicated to the study of synaptic and network malfunctions in Alzheimer’s disease. His research interests are also focused in pain, stress, and age-related neuronal disorders. Vítor Pinto is currently a Medical student close to complete the 5th academic year of his Medical Degree in the University of Minho’s School of Medicine, and a researcher at the Neuroscience research domain of the Life and Health Science Research Institute (University of Minho).
